Must have for those that sew!
My best friend is an amazing seamstress so I bought this for her for Christmas last year. She loves this thing and says it her sewing baby. She does a lot of intricate work so she is able to keep this thing on her table as she works out of the way and it makes her world so much easier. Good buy! UPDATE! My friend has had this for over a year and she uses it literally every day! She says it still works great and she's so happy with it :)

Great little iron!
I was a little leary after reading some reviews, but decided to purchase and try it out. I'm glad I did! This little iron holds its own with a lot of heat for such a small iron. I use it for pressing my piecing with my little pressing matt while away from my big iron. This presses so well, and has a place for water to steam. The water dribbles out, that is the only thing I don't care for, however the heat that this little iron gives out overcomes this minor flaw. I recommend it!

Wonderful little iron for quilters!!
This little iron heats up FAST and it gets pretty hot, which is important to a quilter. Most folks think it's the weight of the iron that gives us crisp, flat pressed seams, but it's actually the heat of the iron and this one delivers! I love the design of this iron. It's very easy to hold and use. I rarely use my steam irons with water in them (I usually use a spritzer bottle and keep the water out of my iron to prolong its life), but I gave this one a try for review purposes and it was great! No dripping, no spitting. In fact, I think this will become the first iron I use as an actual steam iron! haha This will NOT replace your regular sized iron. Some folks seem disappointed (or surprised) that this little iron makes pressing large pieces of fabric too time consuming. Umm.... it wasn't meant for that. Use your regular sized iron for that. This is meant to be a travel iron, a second iron, an iron to have near your sewing machine for quick, easy pressing of block pieces while quilting, etc... Overall, I am very pleased with this iron. I thought the price was great, it is easy to hold and to use, it heats up fast and gets pretty hot, it delivers steam without spitting or dripping. I am very happy I purchased it and would recommend it to anyone, especially quilters! (I have a small ironing table set up near my machine and use this little iron to press my block pieces as I go without having to leave my chair. Makes the whole process quick and efficient and the iron doesn't take up much space on this small pressing surface.)

Excellent iron for sewing and quilting (especially for classes and retreats
I recently bought this iron to use on a week-long sewing retreat. Space is limited and it is nice to have one's own iron to avoid waiting in line to press. I set this up next to my sewing machine using the Omnigrid ironing and cutting mat station. I thought I would only use it for the two twin size quilt tops I was making. The blocks required a lot of trimming and pressing. This iron worked excellently. It generates a lot of steam for holding only 1.4 ounces of water (the water pitcher is the cutest little thing, like a toy). After I finished piecing the quilts, I decided to use it on the garments I was sewing. And I'm glad I did! The iron works well with tailor's tools like the seam roll, tailor's ham, and seam stick. I sewed all week with this iron and made four dresses, 7 pairs of men's briefs, 12 pair of ladies' briefs, two stuffed dolls, and a skirt. All using this iron (though I did resort to a regular iron for the long sides of the twin quilt borders). I like the long cord. Also great is the LACK of an automatic shut off. You can turn the knob to "off" or unplug it. Overall, this is a great product and an excellent resource for sewing retreats and classes.

I love this iron!
I bought this iron to use at my sewing table. It was a pain to set up my big ironing board and iron abd walk across the room everytime I needed to press a piece of my quilting project- just not worth it. This iron has a really long cord, so it works great right at my sewing table. It is hot and steam comes out fast so it presses really well. Honestly, the results are better than my big iron. This will be going on trips with me since I'm sure it will work well for clothes too. A great buy!

Pretty great little iron
This little iron actually works. I recently took this iron on a trip to Europe and used it to iron out a whole suitcase of tshirts and lightweight blouses. I wore jeans so didn’t need to iron those out. It absolutely did the job and did it well. Straightened out every wrinkle with no problems at all. I had no problems with the water leaking out while I was ironing. The steam on this thing is really good and you can use just the steam to remove wrinkles as well. The switch to change voltage is right in the back and very easy to slide across. Just remember to actually switch it over to avoid any mishaps. It comes with instructions and a storage bag. It does have a little weight to it which is good but it isn’t heavy by any means. The cord length is good as well. I love the design of it as it is easy to hold while ironing or steaming. All in all, a really good buy.

I love it
It's perfect for patchwork because the size is small. It's easy to use. I love it.

great for travel and small jobs
bought this for travel. we often head south of the border and only ear casual clothes. our washer/dryer leaves waistbands, shirt collars and button plackets (is that the right word) wrinkled. just need a little touch up and don't want to use a full sized iron. this works great for our needs. small, light and easy to use. you would not mistake the results as those of a full size iron but it is more than adequate for simple demands. steam option is a big plus in a small iron. my wife sews and between trips it is used regularly in the sewing room for small projects.

Best Travel Item Purchase This Year!
The best travel item I have purchased this year! It irons so well. I took it on a trip to Germany a few weeks ago. I just placed a towel on the counter or on the bed and it took minimal effort to iron out the creases. The steam works very good. I hardly had to use the max heat option...it’s pretty powerful. I used filtered water (the Airbnb we stayed at had filtered water and I also took a small bottle water with me in my checked luggage). The reason I used bottled water is because a friend had an iron similar to mine and she said hers stopped working. So I took it as a precaution..but then again this a different brand compared to hers so you probably don’t need filtered water. Either way, I would definitely recommend this to anyone that does business travel and are going to areas that don’t have irons available in the hotel rooms or for leisure travel as well. It doesn’t take up much room.. it fits in the palm of my hand. I also had no problem getting through security in Germany, London, or USA.

Just buy it! You will Love it!
This Iron is absolutely the best! Didn't know I would use it so much. Sure, I knew I would use it for Quilting/sewing, but I find it being my go to Iron for fast pressing and touching things up. By the time my big expensive iron is filled with water and heats up, I'm about finished by using this one. You won't be disappointed. I love it and am thinking about buying another one for a back up. I have had this a few years so I am not just writing a review about something that may not last. This is built to Last!
