Raven and Magnus, a magnetic force!

Wow, what a good read this was. Magnus and Raven, a love of two that melted into one. They were so in tuned to one another. I love how they selflessly without thinking ready to give up their lives for one another. I love the way Raven kept saving Magnus life, not once but three times. Who does that?! A woman with a pure heart and soul. Magnus did the same for her. He suffered the most heinous humiliation of them all by the hands of his own brother(Fender)in front of all the guards. It broke my heart when he showed Raven what his brother did to him just to prove a point that he(Fender)was still the boss. But when you hear their back story of what happened that night they got away from their psycho father. You understand why Fender is the way he his. It especially broke my heart when Magnus told the story of his sister his other half. It just endeared me to him more. Melanie, Raven's sister to me was just a waste of space. She served absolutely no purpose to me at all. She had only her beauty going for her and that was it. She was weak and shallow. But she did love her sister. I loved the way she slapped the shut out of Fender, when he insulted Raven. That was totally unexpected. But I blamed the fact that they were captured in the first place because was so shallow and dumb. Thank you Penelope Sky for another great story and to allow me to get an ARC, to read and review on my own. It was worth every page. Looking forward to the next chapter.

Ended a little too softly but I still loved it

Things pick up right where The Chateau ended , the camp is rebuilt and back up & running. Raven & Magnus’s story continues after he’s been tortured as punishment for what Raven did, and she is returned to the camp as well. Melanie goes back to Fender in an attempt to get him to release her sister ( finally she does something for someone other than herself... or does she) I wanted to slap some sense into Melanie , she was so dam annoying , and Raven continuing to make excuses for her was almost as bad. I really struggle with characters like Melanie, selfish , spoilt and stupid. Magnus battled with his devotion to his brother and his love for Raven , but love for both is what wins in the end. The end seemed a little rushed and all resolved too easily , Fender was so against change yet seemed to flip quite easily , it was still good , and I have really enjoyed these books. The basis of this story is around a drug camp which is worked by women kidnapped , this may not be ok for sensitive people , so please go in prepared. I found it less stressful than the first book.

An amazing book!

I want to start this review by saying I absolutely loved that it was told by Magnus’ point of view. I think I’ve ever read a book where it is entirely told by the mans POV. This book consumed all of my time and space in my head. I absolutely adore the relationship between Magnus and Raven. It was so good and it didn’t seem like a far fetch from reality, they made each other better, stronger. Fender was an epic tool, well until the end, and Melanie was a silly girl, again, until the end. This book has everything I love in a book, and kept me captivated. Penelope Sky never fails to rule my life with her books.

Read book 1 and 2 in less than a day lol

Well written and kept me up all night reading. ****What I liked*** My favorite part of the story was Magnus and Fender. I loved the loyalty and love between the brothers. No matter what happened they had each other’s back. Magnus was a good guy but he really gave in to Raven a little too much. Would have liked to have seen him tell her no every once in a while instead of agreeing to everything she asked. Other than that he was a great character and I loved how loyal he was. ***** What I didn’t like**** OMG I can’t stand Raven lol. Through both books she just came off as entitled and very judgy. It was always I want this and I want that and I feel this and I feel that. She never cared about anyone’s feelings but her own. She always thought she was right and every time she asked Magnus to do something she came off as very manipulative. After all this I ended up liking her sister more than her. Honestly she is one of my least favorite h. I would roll my eyes when she started with her requests....even at the end she still had a request and I felt like she asked too much of him and it was always about her and no one else. Will read the other books because I like her sister and would love to read her story.

“She Does It Again”

Wow, She continues to blow these stories out of the water, where she gets the inspiration to write so many block buster books is phenomenal.....and I loved how she mentioned the Barsetti wine that was a little treat , even tho that story line is over .... I enjoyed every single book ....

Magnus and Raven

Well written once again and I finished the book in one sitting. The love she has for him makes her do crazy things and the same for him. But their love and desire is stronger then anything else. Nothing can keep them apart. The torture they both had to endure. Penelope wasn’t joking when she said this series is darker like the others, but well worth it. Can’t wait until the next book.

The Camp

I very much enjoyed Raven and Magnum 's story. I was glad it turned out to end in a good way. I felt good when the female prisoners being used and held against their will to put the drugs together got released. Enjoyed this very much!

Unexpected

This book is completely different that what I expected from Penelope Sky. The writing is great but story line is overwhelming to read at points. Raven and Magnus both are fighters. He helps her when she needs it the most. This book is quite shocking in many ways and could have triggers for some people.

Definitely didn't disappoint

This was a perfect follow-up to the first book. You couldn't help falling in love with Magnus. I enjoyed the different situation/story. It was done very well.

Uplifting

I really loved the relationship between Raven and Magnus and love they sheared. The story as it unfolded held my every thought until I finished it.
